HAND CAUGHT IN MACHINE DURING GRAPE HARVEST
The incident occurred while Ekrem Cıllı, the Mayor of Saruhanlı, was harvesting grapes on his own land. According to the information obtained, Cıllı caught his left hand in the grape-spreading machine while working with it.
After the machine was stopped, health teams were notified for the injured Cıllı. The Mayor, who was taken to an ambulance in pain, was referred to Manisa Celal Bayar University Hafsa Sultan Hospital after his initial intervention.

Following the initial examinations at the hospital, it was determined that Cıllı had an injury on his left hand and damage to his tendons. Mayor Cıllı underwent surgery due to the injury to his hand.
It was learned that Cıllı's health condition is good, there is no life-threatening danger, and there is no loss of any limb.
