It is alleged that one of the directors working in two directorates within the Antalya Governorship hired his daughter and the other hired his cousin through an interview. The governorship initiated an investigation upon a complaint made to CIMER regarding the issue.
It is alleged that Nur Pelin İnanlı, the Deputy Director of the Investment Monitoring and Coordination Unit within the Antalya Governorship, hired her aunt's daughter, and Elmas İlik, the 3rd Strategy Director, hired her own daughter through the interview process. The Antalya Governorship initiated an investigation regarding the complaint made to CIMER about the issue.
According to an unidentified person who claimed that 18 out of 30 personnel hired with the registration number 2023/719647 on August 21st last year by the Investment Monitoring Coordination Presidency of the Antalya Governorship were not selected based on merit but were relatives of those managing the recruitment process, the person reported the situation to CIMER.
REQUEST FOR EXAMINATION OF CAMERA RECORDINGS
The petition also included information that Nur Pelin İnanlı, who was temporarily running the Investment Monitoring Directorate, participated in the interview to select the personnel and requested the evaluation of whether it was ethical for her to start her own aunt's daughter, Betül Duran, in the job, the investigation of whether Betül Duran started working alongside Nur Pelin İnanlı, and the knowledge that Elmas İlik, the 3rd Strategy Director, hired her own daughter, Büşra Aydın, and started her daughter in her own directorate, as well as the investigation of whether they came to work or not, which can also be seen from the institution's security entrance camera recordings.
ANOTHER PERSON HIGHLIGHTED IN THE PETITION
In addition, the petition pointed out that Başar Çakır, who was hired, was among the 18 people and did not possess any of the qualifications for the recruitment, and requested an investigation into the connection between Çakır and the officials who made the recruitment.
INVESTIGATION INITIATED
The Ministry of Interior, to which the complaint petition reached, took action to examine the CIMER application. Nedim Akmeşe, the General Director of Personnel at the Ministry of Interior, sent the petition to the Antalya Governorship and requested an investigation. The Governorship initiated an investigation.
