While the trailer for the 71st episode of the series Uzak Şehir, starring Ozan Akbaba and Sinem Ünsal, was taken down and re-uploaded due to a shoe continuity error in the scene where Cihan takes Alya in his arms, viewers complained about the lost high engagement of the deleted trailer.

Sharing the lead roles of Ozan Akbaba and Sinem Ünsal, the phenomenon series Uzak Şehir locked viewers to their screens with the finale scene of its aired 70th episode. The moments when Alya cut off Ecmel and pointed a gun at her, but fell ill before she could pull the trigger, and Cihan ran to her saying "What's wrong with you Alya, what's wrong, tell me..." resonated widely on social media. After the finale, the eagerly awaited 71st episode trailer was shared, but soon the editing-error crisis left its mark.

HIGH-HEELED SHOE TURNED INTO A BOOT

In the first teaser released, a clear continuity error was made in the scene where Cihan picks up Alya, who has fallen ill, and tries to get her to the hospital. The high-heeled shoe on Alya's foot turning into a boot in the next frame did not escape the notice of careful series followers. After this editing error in the cut was noticed, the released trailer was removed from broadcast within seconds.

DELETED TRAILER COST RECORD ENGAGEMENT

The corrected version of the trailer was shared again on social media. However, when the high view counts that the removed first trailer had reached in a short time disappeared, followers reacted to the situation with humorous comments.

Some of the comments that quickly went viral on social media stood out as follows:

• "Let this be your only flaw!"
• "You destroyed the engagement for this..."
• "Did you delete the trailer because the wrong shoe was visible? Are you joking?"
• "We would have ignored it; the engagement was wasted."
• "Half a million views gone, what a shame!"
