14-year-old Meryem Sakman from Van, who scored a perfect 500 by answering all questions correctly in the LGS, has completed her high school preferences. Experiencing the pride of being among the top students in Turkey, Meryem took her first step towards her goal of medical school by listing Istanbul Kartal Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, her biggest dream, as her first choice.
Meryem Sakman, who scored a perfect 500 by answering all 90 questions correctly in the centralized exam within the High School Transition System (LGS) in Van, has completed her high school preferences. Sakman, 14, among Turkey's champions, listed Istanbul Kartal Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, her biggest dream, as her first choice.
REGULAR STUDY AND FAMILY SUPPORT BROUGHT SUCCESS
Meryem Sakman, a graduate of Cumhuriyet Imam Hatip Middle School in İpekyolu district, went to her school with her mother Hatice Sakman after the LGS results were announced and completed her procedures at the 'Preference Office'. The champion student, who created her preference list with guidance from school principal Fatih Gül, shared her excitement and happiness.
Stating that she maintained an intense study pace day and night during the exam process, Sakman expressed her feelings with these words: "When I came out of the exam, I didn't expect to get such a result. I achieved this success thanks to the support of my teachers and family. I am very happy. Kartal Anatolian Imam Hatip High School was my and my family's dream. I am very excited, I can't wait for schools to open."
Also mentioning her future goals, the successful student said she wants to pursue education in the numerical field at university and win a medical school.

Cumhuriyet Imam Hatip Middle School Principal Fatih Gül stated that they believed Meryem would achieve top results even before the exam, saying, "Our daughter's achieving first place in Turkey in this challenging exam made us proud. We are confident that Kartal Anatolian Imam Hatip High School will add much to Meryem and she will grow up as a beneficial child to the nation and country."
Mother Hatice Sakman expressed that they completed the preference process favorably and thanked all the teachers who contributed to the process.
