Bosch Brake Systems, one of the important production facilities in Turkey's automotive supply industry, has announced that it will temporarily halt production at its Bursa factory. The company informed the public through a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP).
PRODUCTION WILL STOP ON JULY 27
According to the statement made to KAP, production activities at the Bosch Brake Systems factory in Bursa will be suspended between July 27 and August 9, 2026. The company stated that the production stoppage is within the scope of the planned annual leave period applied every year and the periodic maintenance and renovation work to be carried out across the facility.
EMPLOYEES WILL TAKE ANNUAL LEAVE
During the two-week period, factory employees will use their annual leave while comprehensive maintenance and technical renovation work will be carried out at the production facility. The company stated that this practice is a planned process carried out regularly to ensure that operations continue more efficiently.
PRODUCTION WILL RESUME ON AUGUST 10
According to the statement of Bosch Brake Systems, production lines will resume operations on Monday, August 10, 2026, after the maintenance and leave process is completed. The company also emphasized that the planned production shutdown is not expected to have any negative impact on the supply chain or operational activities.
