In the Plan and Budget Commission of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, a procedural debate that began between İYİ Party and AK Party MPs quickly turned into a brawl. While the moments when MPs shouted "Dishonorable" at each other were captured on camera, Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek left the hall.

At the GNAT Plan and Budget Committee, the procedural debate initiated by the İYİ Party regarding speaking times turned into a physical and verbal fight with the harsh reaction of AK Party MPs. Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek had to leave the hall.

Tensions suddenly rose at the GNAT Plan and Budget Committee, where the budget of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance was being discussed. When AK Party benches reacted to the procedural debate launched by the İYİ Party group over not imposing restrictions on speaking times, MPs clashed.

"ARE WE ASKING YOU FOR CHARITY?"

The AK Party MPs' remark, "Your number of members has decreased, but we are not applying this to you," ignited the fuse in the committee. İYİ Party Adana MP Ayyüce Türkeş, reacting very harshly to these statements, raised her voice and said, "Are we asking you for charity?"

MINISTER ŞİMŞEK LEFT THE HALL

As the debate grew, there were mutual exchanges between AK Party Çorum MP Süleyman Şahan and Ayyüce Türkeş. The tension, which began with Şahan's words "We are doing what is necessary," flared up over fund investigations and grievances experienced. Moments in which profane words flew back and forth and MPs lunged at each other were reflected in the cameras moment by moment. After the events got out of control and the committee was forced to take a break, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, who was in the hall, left the meeting area.
