A minibus carrying seasonal agricultural workers on the Malatya-Elazig highway rear-ended a truck. In the minibus that went under the truck, 19 people were injured, 3 of them seriously. The injured were taken to hospitals, and an investigation into the accident has been initiated.
19 people were injured when a minibus carrying seasonal agricultural workers crashed into the rear of a truck on the Malatya-Elazığ highway.
MINIBUS REAR-ENDED THE TRUCK
The accident occurred at the Yenice Neighborhood location on the Malatya-Elazığ highway. According to claims, the minibus with license plate 44 J 1148, carrying seasonal agricultural workers and whose driver's name has not yet been learned, went out of control and rear-ended the truck with license plate 44 KG 111 traveling in the same direction.
19 PEOPLE INJURED
Due to the impact, the minibus went under the truck. In the horrific accident, 19 people were injured, 3 of them seriously. Upon the notice, health, gendarmerie, fire brigade, and UMKE teams were dispatched to the scene.
After initial interventions at the scene, the injured were taken to various hospitals in the city by ambulances and placed under treatment. An investigation has been initiated regarding the accident.
