In a critique of Yıldırım's words on the KAFA Sports YouTube channel, Yalçın said, "Of course, I do not agree with this statement. I do not find it very healthy for a club president to make such a statement. What is the need? Yüksel Yıldırım is a good president; he has brought Samsunspor to good places. He is really doing good work, but I do not consider these statements before big matches appropriate for him.
