Sergen Yalçın, who parted ways with Beşiktaş, made striking statements on the KAFA Sports YouTube channel. Yalçın evaluated the club process, squad structure, his departure, and criticisms with harsh words.

Reminding that he said "If the fans want, I'll leave," Yalçın stated, "The fans wanted it, so I left. Don't do to Italiano what was done to me; let the man do his job."

"Where is Beşiktaş heading like this? Change the coach, change the president, change the coach... Where will Beşiktaş go like this?
