TFF Presidential Candidate Servet Yardımcı has officially become a candidate by submitting his candidacy application file. Yardımcı shared on his social media account, "Our official candidacy application has been accepted by the Turkish Football Federation. Good luck to Turkish football." The election will be held on Thursday, July 18th.
The candidacy of Servet Yardımcı, who previously announced his candidacy for the Presidency of the Turkish Football Federation, has been formalized.

WHO IS SERVET YARDIMCI? Servet Yardımcı was born on December 26, 1957 in Rize. Yardımcı, who played amateur football for a period, took on managerial duties at Çaykur Rizespor. Graduated from the Economics Department of London Metropolitan University and also serving as the chairman of family companies, Yardımcı has been a member of various TFF administrations since 2008 and also served as the TFF President for a while. Yardımcı, who was a board member during Mehmet Ali Aydınlar's term, also served as the 1st Vice President in Yıldırım Demirören's team, which started in 2012. Yardımcı, who has been a member of the UEFA Executive Committee for 7 years, the first Turkish to hold a high-level position in UEFA after Şenes Erzik, ensured that 1 UEFA Champions League and 1 UEFA Super Cup Final were held in Turkey, and organized the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League draw ceremonies in Turkey for 2 consecutive years after Monte Carlo. He also played a leading role in the organization of the 2032 UEFA European Football Championship in Turkey (in partnership with Italy).
WHEN IS THE ELECTION? In the announcement made by the Turkish Football Federation in April, it was stated that the TFF Ordinary General Assembly meeting, which should be held by July 31, will be held on July 18, 2024, taking into account the participation of the Turkish National Football Team in the EURO 2024 Finals and the start and end dates of the tournament. The TFF Presidency election will be held on Thursday, July 18.
