In Adana, 28-year-old S.M. claimed that the person she had been living with for 5 years systematically beat her, took the money she earned, and forced her into prostitution. While the moments of violence were reflected on security cameras, a restraining order was issued against the person she lived with until September 5 after the young woman filed a complaint with the prosecutor's office.
S.M., a 28-year-old living in Adana, claimed that the person she had been living with for 5 years had been systematically subjecting her to violence for a long time.
S.M. alleged that the person she lived with beat her on the grounds that she did not earn money. The moments when the young woman was subjected to violence were also captured on security cameras.
After what she experienced, S.M. went to the prosecutor's office and filed a complaint against the person she lived with. A restraining order was issued against the individual until September 5.
"HE IS FORCING ME INTO PROSTITUTION"
Claiming that she had been subjected to violence for a long time, S.M. also alleged that the person she lived with forced her into prostitution.
S.M. said, "He deceived me and beats me every day. He is forcing me into prostitution. He even forced his brother to have relations with me. I was working at a hotel, and he hit and assaulted me there. There are camera recordings of those moments as well."
"MY DAUGHTER WAS BORN BUT DOESN'T EVEN HAVE AN IDENTITY"
S.M. also alleged that the person she lived with constantly forced her to meet other men.
The young woman stated, "He constantly forced me to see others. He beat me because I didn't. I ran away from home. We have been living together for 5 years. My daughter was born, but she doesn't even have an identity."
"HE TOOK MY MONEY AND BEAT ME"
Claiming that she was also subjected to economic pressure, S.M. said she had to give the money she earned from working to the person she lived with.
S.M. described what she experienced with these words: "He says, 'Go get money. If you don't bring money, don't come to this house.' He was forcing me into prostitution, but I wouldn't do it. I would go and work in textiles. I gave him the money I earned. He both took my money and beat me."
"I WENT TO WORK BECAUSE I WAS VERY AFRAID"
The young woman also alleged that she was forced to work shortly after giving birth.
S.M. said, "My daughter was born. I was in the hospital, but he forced me to go to work. I went to work because I was very afraid. There are also recordings that were previously captured on cameras. He grabbed me by my hair and threw me down the stairs."
Following S.M.'s complaint, a restraining order was issued against the person she lived with until September 5.
