A 32-year-old mother of three passed away while cleaning at home in the Ortahisar district of Trabzon. It is reported that she mixed hydrochloric acid with bleach while cleaning, and there is a possibility that she was poisoned as a result of a chemical reaction.
Ümran Katırcı, who lived in the Fatih neighborhood of the Ortahisar district in Trabzon, reportedly fell ill while cleaning her house.
UNABLE TO BE SAVED
Mother of three, Katırcı informed her husband Hakan Katırcı, who works at the Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality City Council, about her worsening cough by phone. Upon arriving home, Hakan Katırcı found his wife motionless with no pulse and performed CPR, then notified the 112 Emergency Call Center. Health and police teams were dispatched to the address following the report. It was determined that Ümran Katırcı had passed away. Her lifeless body was taken to the morgue for an autopsy.
MIXED BLEACH WITH AMMONIA
It is being emphasized that Ümran Katırcı mixed ammonia with bleach during her cleaning at home, and she was poisoned due to the resulting chemical reaction, while an investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
BURIED
The funeral of Ümran Katırcı, whose death caused sorrow among her family and friends, was buried in the family cemetery after the prayer held at Fatih Mosque in the afternoon.

On the other hand, Trabzon Metropolitan Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç also shared a condolence message on social media: Mayor Genç expressed his condolences with the following words: "I learned with deep sorrow about the passing of Ümran Katırcı, the precious wife of our colleague Hakan Katırcı, who works in the Press and Public Relations Department of our Metropolitan Municipality. I pray for God's mercy on the deceased sister and wish patience and strength to all her relatives, especially to our colleague Hakan Katırcı."
