Sad news came from Cansever, one of the strong names of Arabesque music. The master artist, who had been battling leukemia for a while, passed away at the age of 59 in the hospital where she was receiving treatment.

Singer Cansever, who had been battling cancer for a long time, has passed away.

Cansever, who left his mark on the 90s and was the owner of unforgettable arabesque songs such as "Ağla Gözbebeğim", "Sen de Gittin" and "Kime Bu İnat", has succumbed to leukemia. The master artist, who was diagnosed with leukemia (blood cancer) last December and underwent a bone marrow transplant in Germany, closed his eyes to life at the age of 59 in the hospital where he was being treated.
