According to the latest meteorological assessments of the General Directorate of Meteorology under the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, Turkey will be affected by cold and rainy weather coming from the Balkans starting from Monday, April 7 (tomorrow).
Air temperatures, which have been around seasonal norms, are expected to decrease across the country starting from the northwestern regions. It is anticipated that temperatures in the western regions will drop 4 to 6 degrees below seasonal norms, while in other regions, it will drop 8 to 10 degrees. The cold weather is expected to be effective in the western part of the country until the weekend and in the eastern part until the beginning of next week. Along with the cold weather, mixed rain and snow are expected to be seen, especially in high areas, as well as in northern, inland, and eastern regions.
