Reactions continue to grow against President Donald Trump and Elon Musk, who heads the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in the United States.
THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE TOOK TO THE STREETS
Across the country, thousands of people organized a protest under the slogan "Hand's Off" to react against the policies of Trump and Musk. Thousands of demonstrators gathered in Boston City Park with Ukrainian and US flags, chanting anti-Trump and Musk slogans.
REPRESENTING MANY VICTIM GROUPS
The organizers of the protest stated that it represented many victim groups, including federal employees opposing mass layoffs, university students and faculty, as well as nurses protesting potential cuts to the government's health insurance program.
"CREATING ENEMIES IN THE WORLD ON OUR BEHALF"
Joyce Ward, a 71-year-old participant in the protests in Boston, Massachusetts, criticized Trump's decision to cut budgets for universities where pro-Palestinian demonstrations were held, calling it a "wrong decision" and "revenge." Ward stated, "He says he will target universities due to antisemitism. This is not true. It's just more gang-style government management." Emphasizing that the rule of law has ended in the US, Ward said, "He is creating enemies in the world on our behalf. We are not at war, but we are not at peace either."
