The snowfall that was effective in the last days of May covered the green areas and vehicles with a white blanket on the Çambaşı Plateau at an altitude of 2,000 meters in the Kabadüz district of Ordu. While citizens were surprised, postcard-worthy images emerged.
With the sudden drop in air temperatures, snowfall was observed in the higher elevations of Ordu. Citizens in the plateau were amazed by the snow falling in May.
VEHICLES AND GREEN AREAS COVERED IN WHITE
After the snowfall, which was particularly effective in the higher points of the plateau, vehicles and green areas were covered in white. As the cold weather intensified fog in the region, postcard-like scenes emerged on the plateau. Citizens recorded the snowfall with their mobile phones and shared it on their social media accounts.
Meteorology officials stated that air temperatures in the higher elevations of Ordu have fallen below seasonal norms and warned citizens to be cautious.
