Snowfall was effective in the high areas of some districts in Istanbul.

While the downpour that started in the morning hours continued in the city, it gave way to snowfall in the high areas of Kartal, Ataşehir, Sultanbeyli, and Sancaktepe on the Asian side.

ROADS AND PARKS WERE COVERED WITH A WHITE BLANKET

Especially in Aydos Hill, snow blankets formed in some roadside areas, parks, and gardens in the high regions.

Citizens captured the first snow of the season in the city with their mobile phones.

THERMOMETERS IN ULUDAG SHOWED -10

On the other hand, in Uludağ, one of Turkey's most important tourist centers, the air temperature dropped to -10 degrees. The hotel area and ski center were covered in white.
