Istanbul Governor Davut Gul gave exclusive statements to Haberler.com at the Zero Waste Festival. Drawing attention to both the entertaining and educational aspects of the festival, Gul invited all Istanbul residents to attend with their families.
The Zero Waste approach, which has turned into a global environmental movement under the leadership of Emine Erdoğan, Chair of the United Nations Zero Waste High-Level Advisory Board and Honorary Chair of the Zero Waste Foundation, has gained a new meeting point with the Zero Waste Festival starting today in Istanbul. Organized in collaboration with the Zero Waste Foundation and the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, the festival will welcome visitors between June 4-7.
İstanbul Governor Davut Gül, who visited the festival held under the auspices of the Istanbul Governorship at Atatürk Airport, gave exclusive statements to Haberler.com.
"NOT JUST ENTERTAINMENT, BUT ALSO AN EDUCATIONAL ASPECT"
Responding to questions from Haberler.com presenter Melis Yaşar, Istanbul Governor Davut Gül stated that the festival appeals to people of all ages.
Gül said, "A true festival atmosphere is being experienced. We see that people of all ages are here, spending time with their families."
Drawing attention to the educational aspect of the festival, Governor Gül emphasized that the organization is not solely for entertainment. Gül said, "This place is not just for entertainment or festival purposes. It also has an educational aspect. We get to see and experience in practice what we learn at school and at home. The experiences in the workshops are very valuable, and the refreshments are very valuable."
ARTISTS WILL TAKE THE STAGE
Referring to the concerts to be held within the festival, Gül invited visitors to the evening programs.
Governor Gül said, "We have artists taking the stage from 6:30 PM onwards. There is Rafet El Roman, Mazhar Alanson and his group. Many similar friends will take the stage."

Stating that the festival offers an important experience for families, Davut Gül concluded his words with the following call:
