HER HEART STOPPED AFTER AN 11-HOUR OPERATION
The incident occurred at a private hospital in the Konak district of Izmir. Mental and Neurological Diseases Specialist Dr. Emine Yılmaz was taken into surgery to undergo a face-lift.
According to claims, the operation, performed under general anesthesia by aesthetic surgeon Prof. Dr. U.B., lasted 11 hours. Yılmaz, whose heart stopped after the surgery, was given CPR for a long time at the hospital.
After the initial intervention, the doctor was taken to the intensive care unit but could not be saved despite all the efforts of the medical teams.
HER LIFELESS BODY WAS TAKEN TO THE FORENSIC MEDICINE INSTITUTE
Dr. Emine Yılmaz's body was taken to the morgue of the Izmir Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy to determine the cause of death. It was learned that Yılmaz's husband also works as a radiology doctor at a private hospital.
