In a post on his Instagram account, Yanevski shared a photo of himself in a hospital bed with a bandaged nose and an IV in his arm. The actor, who turned 40 on May 16, announced his health issues following his birthday with the words: "I was hospitalized immediately after my birthday celebration because I couldn't breathe."

In his statement, Yanevski mentioned that he underwent surgery, saying, "I was taken into surgery, and this photo was taken right after I came out of the operation." He explained the reason for not sharing his situation initially by stating, "I didn't want to scare or worry anyone." Emphasizing that he preferred to fight silently, the actor said, "I've always been this way. I fight silently against difficulties. Of course, I received support from a few people I shared the situation with and my family, for which I am very grateful." Yanevski also reassured his followers by stating that his health is improving, saying, "I can now breathe easily and feel the scents of life again. I had completely lost this in recent months. From now on, I will heal with peaceful sleep and will return with full strength very soon."
