An announcement came from the Syrian Interim Government due to the escalating tension in the areas controlled by the Turkish army through the Euphrates Shield and Peace Spring Operations in Syria. The statement stated, "Our people living in the liberated areas should not comply with provocative calls aiming to attack the goods and institutions built with the sacrifices of the Turkish army and the Syrian National Army." The statement also said, "We strongly reject actions targeting the Turkish flag."

The Temporary Government of Syria has called on the people living in the liberated areas not to comply with provocative calls aimed at attacking goods and institutions built with the sacrifices of the Turkish army and the Syrian National Army.

Following the sexual abuse of a 5-year-old girl by a Syrian national in Kayseri, the incidents in the city spread beyond the border. As tension escalates in the areas controlled by the Turkish army through the Euphrates Shield operation in northern Syria, the Temporary Government of Syria made a statement.

It was emphasized in the statement that despite all the difficulties the region has experienced, this brotherhood will continue for centuries to come, as it is the requirement of the common destiny of the two peoples. The statement also stated, "Therefore, the Temporary Government of Syria condemns all extremist actions targeting Syrian refugees fleeing the crimes committed by the killer Assad regime, its allies, and terrorist organizations. The Temporary Government of Syria emphasizes the necessity of protecting Syrians in Turkey and all host countries and appreciates the legal steps taken by the Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs against attackers."

The Temporary Government of Syria highlights the danger of using these incidents to harm Turkish-Syrian relations and target Turkish brothers working with the Syrian people to liberate Syrian territories from terrorism."

The Temporary Government of Syria also reacted to the audacious attacks on the Turkish flag in the region, stating, "We strongly reject actions against the Turkish flag and demand an immediate end to all actions targeting the Turkish presence in the liberated areas. The Temporary Government of Syria rejects provocative actions aimed at undermining the existing alliance between Turkey and the Syrian people and the gains of the revolution, using the incidents in Kayseri as an excuse. The Syrian people are aware that these incidents are supported by enemies of the revolution to harm Turkish-Syrian relations."

WHAT HAPPENED?

After the sexual abuse of a 5-year-old girl by a foreign national in the Melikgazi district of Kayseri the night before, incidents occurred in the areas controlled by the Turkish army through the Euphrates Shield operation in Syria. In a video shared on social media, it was seen that provocateurs tried to enter the building used by the Turkish army and the soldiers tried to disperse the demonstrators by firing warning shots into the air. The footage also showed Turkish trucks and vehicles with Turkish license plates being stoned.
