"THE REASON WHY HAKAN FIDAN'S VISIT WAS SO QUICK"

Assoc. Dr. Merve Suna Özel Özcan stated that Hakan Fidan's visit occurred in such a short time due to the rapid changes in the dynamics of the region. Emphasizing that Turkey and Syria have begun to establish strong relations in the new process, Özcan evaluated the impact of this situation on future developments.

"400 BILLION DOLLARS ARE NEEDED FOR SYRIA'S RECONSTRUCTION"

Regarding the reconstruction process of Syria, Özcan stated that the cost of this process would be approximately 400 billion dollars. Additionally, she expressed that it would be difficult for returns from Turkey to Syria to happen immediately.

"WE MAY SEE AN ISRAEL THAT CAN SAY 'THE WHOLE MIDDLE EAST IS MINE'"

Pointing out the tactics Israel is following in the region, Özcan said that Israel could transform into a structure that can say 'The whole Middle East is mine.' She also emphasized the need to create a structure that embraces everyone in the region.
