MHP Deputy Chairman Feti Yıldız, one of the names who prepared the 'Law Proposal on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration,' used the expressions, 'Wait. The issue of compliance with the Constitutional Court and ECHR decisions is also in the report' regarding the implementation of the decisions of the Constitutional Court and the European Court of Human Rights concerning Selahattin Demirtaş, the imprisoned former co-chair of the HDP.

MHP Deputy Chairman Feti Yıldız, one of the names who prepared the 'Bill on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Cohesion', and MHP Deputy Group Chairs Erkan Akçay and Filiz Kılıç attended the press conference organized by AK Party Group Chair Abdullah Güler to provide information on the bill.

Feti Yıldız, who carried out the work with the AK Party during the preparations of the said bill and is one of the architects of the proposal, answered journalists' questions while leaving the AK Party Group after the press conference.

"CONFIRMATION AND DETECTION ARE A STARTING POINT"

Regarding the bill, Feti Yıldız said, "At the press conference, what has been done from the committee to date was explained in detail. The legal regulation is already very understandable. I hope it will achieve its purpose after implementation begins. Confirmation and detection are a starting point here. The implementation begins after the National Security Council's decision is published in the Official Gazette. This is important. May it be auspicious, it was good, a very nice law in my opinion."

WILL THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT AND ECHR DECISIONS REGARDING SELAHATTİN DEMİRTAŞ BE APPLIED?

In response to the question, "Should we expect any development regarding the application of the ECHR and Constitutional Court decisions on Selahattin Demirtaş's return to his home, as pointed out by Devlet Bahçeli?", Feti Yıldız answered, "Wait. The issue of complying with the Constitutional Court and ECHR decisions is already in the report."

"HEZBOLLAH CANNOT BENEFIT"

Upon the question, "In June, HÜDAPAR deputies submitted a bill proposal and a committee was suggested there. It mentioned dissolved organizations and established a connection with Hezbollah. Today, this law says 'affiliated organizations', but does it cover them?", Yıldız said, "This proposal says PKK, KCK, and their affiliated organizations. Nothing beyond that. DHKP-C or Hezbollah cannot benefit from this law."

"NOT AGAINST THE PRINCIPLE OF EQUALITY"

In response to the question, "If it goes to the Constitutional Court through local courts, is there a possibility of it being overturned due to violating the principle of equality?", Feti Yıldız answered, "This will come out of the Parliament. Parliament, that is, the legislature, has discretionary authority in classifying crimes in this regard. It also has it in execution and in adding criminal norms. This is not against the principle of equality. There are decisions on this matter both in the Constitutional Court and the European Court of Human Rights."

Upon the question, "İYİ Party also has a procedural objection, saying they signed without seeing the text", Feti Yıldız said, "They saw it. Everyone saw it."

"SUCH A LAW HAS NOT BEEN SEEN IN RECENT YEARS"

In response to a question about the discussions of the proposal at the General Assembly stage, Feti Yıldız said, "In the General Assembly, they will definitely say some things, but it will pass with an acceptance of over 400. We are already submitting it with more than 360 signatures. Such a law has not been seen in recent years."
