Stating that he had read Haluk Levent's file, Pehlivan said, 'I wish I could say he is innocent, but I cannot. Because there are nauseating facts in the file. I also see that Haluk Levent is not alone in this matter.'
While new developments are taking place in the investigation against the Ahbap Association under the charges of "Violation of the Associations Law", "Laundering of assets derived from crime", and "Membership in an organization", journalist Barış Pehlivan made striking assessments.
As the legal procedures for Haluk Levent, who was detained within the scope of the investigation, continue at the police station, Pehlivan, who has come to the fore with his statements about the case, said he examined the investigation files.

Pehlivan argued that the information and documents in the file contain serious allegations and claimed that the scope of the investigation is broader than what has been reflected to the public.

INVESTIGATION EXPANDS Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, simultaneous operations were recently carried out in Istanbul, Izmir, Kocaeli, and Mugla against 14 suspects, including Haluk Levent's brother Berkant Acil, and 4 companies.
The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office alleged that 125 million 765 thousand liras from donations made to the Ahbap Association were transferred to the account of Haluk Levent's assistant, Y.K., and from there to the accounts of individuals and companies linked to Berkant Acil.
The investigation file also included allegations that Berkant Acil committed irregularities in the festival organization organized by the Sile Municipality, with fake invoices inflating the organization's expenses.
Meanwhile, images of Haluk Levent getting into a vehicle at a rest facility in Bursa before being detained were also reflected in the public.
As the legal procedures of the suspects detained within the scope of the investigation continue at the police station, the examination of the case file continues in multiple directions.
