Following Kadir İnanır's death, as debates over his inheritance continue, striking statements came from his nephew Levent İnanır. Stating that his uncle's frog collection, said to be worth 35 million TL, was not in the house, İnanır said, "It is not clear where it is."
Levent İnanır, the nephew of Yeşilçam master Kadir İnanır, said that his uncle's frog collection was not at home. İnanır, who also questioned the 35 million TL value assigned to the collection, stated that it was not known where the items were.
Making a statement about the belongings Kadir İnanır left behind after his death, his nephew Levent İnanır spoke on the program “Red Line with Esra Ezmeci” about the collection consisting of frog figures his uncle had accumulated over the years.
QUESTIONED THE 35 MILLION LIRA VALUE
Stating that the collection contained figures made of different materials such as cloth, ceramic, and glass, Levent İnanır questioned according to which criteria the 35 million TL figure was determined. İnanır used the following statements:
"Kadir Bey had, so to speak, a frog collection. What did you measure it by, what did you weigh it with? Is it gold, silver? What is its purity? There is cloth, ceramic, glass in it... 35 million. Ha, if I donate the frogs to his nephews, for example, does that mean you made a 35 million donation? Question mark."
“IT IS NOT CLEAR WHERE IT IS”
Levent İnanır, who said that the collection disappeared during the period his uncle was in the hospital, continued his statement as follows:
"By the way, the frog collection is not at home either. It is not in Kadir Bey's house. It is not clear where it is. That too has been taken away. That too is gone. While we were in the hospital, they also disappeared. Or are there other forensic cases here, did I make myself clear?"
Levent İnanır's statements regarding the disappearance of the collection have not yet been independently verified.
