Sturm Graz Head Coach Fabio Ingolitsch made statements after the Fenerbahçe match. Drawing attention to Anderson Talisca's performance, the young coach said, "Stopping Talisca is not easy. He is an effective player; even though we take precautions, trying to break his concentration is only effective to a degree. At the end of the game, he shows his quality and class. It is difficult to stop such a player, not just for us, but for all teams."
In the first match of the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round, Sturm Graz coach Fabio Ingolitsch, who lost 2-0 to Fenerbahçe away, said they could not cope with the yellow-navy team's effective players.
"IT WAS NOT EASY TO PLAY HERE"
Speaking at the press conference held after the match played at Chobani Stadium, Ingolitsch said, "It was not easy to play here against a strong team like Fenerbahçe. Fenerbahçe knew how to get the result with their strong players. We fell behind in the first half. We planned to change that in the second half, but it did not go as we planned. Fenerbahçe's strong players did not allow that. We could not show the game we wanted on the field and unfortunately we lost."
"IT IS NOT EASY TO STOP TALISCA"
Ingolitsch, stating that there is a difficult atmosphere at Fenerbahçe away, noted the following:
"In the second match, we will use these advantages in our favor as hosts, playing in front of our fans at our home ground. With the advantages of the crowd and our home field, we will try to finish the first half ahead if possible, then find the second goal and turn the tie in our favor. It is not easy to stop Talisca. He is an effective player; no matter how much we take precautions, it is effective to some extent to break his concentration to stop him. At the end of the game, he shows his quality and skill. Stopping such a player is difficult not only for us but for all teams."
