A 19-year-old worker at a cookie factory in Bolu lost his hand at the wrist after his right hand got caught in a dough cutting machine. While the severed hand was taken to the hospital in an organ transplant bag and the worker received treatment, other workers who witnessed the incident fainted. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
A horrifying accident occurred in a cookie production facility in Karaçayır District of Bolu. 19-year-old worker Oğuz Ç. had his right hand caught in a dough cutting machine while working. Oğuz Ç.'s right hand was severed at the wrist.
HAND SEVERED AT THE WRIST
Upon the report, health and police teams were dispatched to the facility. While health teams provided first aid to Oğuz Ç., the worker's severed hand was placed in an organ transplant bag.
WITNESSES FAINTED
After initial intervention at the scene, Oğuz Ç. was transferred to the hospital with his severed hand. Other workers who witnessed the horrific incident fainted. Health teams treated the workers who fainted at the scene.
