Mohsen Rezai, military advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, announced that ceasefire negotiations with the US have reached a deadlock and directly called on Donald Trump. Stating that a potential agreement depends on steps taken by the US, Rezai said, "Trump must break this impasse. Our frozen $24 billion is a test of trust for America."

Iran's supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei's military advisor Mohsen Rezaei announced that ceasefire negotiations with the US have stalled. Calling on Washington clearly, Rezaei emphasized that the only path to a potential agreement depends on the steps taken by US President Donald Trump.

"NEGOTIATIONS STALLED, THE BALL IS NOW IN TRUMP'S COURT"

A striking admission came from the Iranian side regarding the critical ceasefire talks conducted behind the scenes between the US and Tehran. Stating that the process is not progressing, military advisor Mohsen Rezaei said, "The talks are currently in a complete deadlock. US President Donald Trump needs to break this diplomatic impasse and take a concrete step." Linking the basis of any agreement entirely to the attitude of the Trump administration, Rezaei also clearly declared the condition facing the White House for a solution.

"$24 BILLION IS A TRUST TEST FOR AMERICA"

Announcing Tehran's most explicit red line for reaching a possible agreement between Iran and the US, Rezaei highlighted the billions of dollars in frozen Iranian assets held by Washington. Emphasizing that the funds belong to them, the military advisor challenged with the following words:

"This is our own money, not America's property. If Trump truly intends to sit at the table with Iran and reach a lasting agreement, he must agree to release the frozen $24 billion in Iranian assets. This money is a major test for Iran's trust in Trump and his administration. America must first pass this trust test successfully so that the diplomatic channels can be fully opened."
