Surprise move from Köfteci Yusuf: Has started direct animal slaughter without intermediaries.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has revealed a list of food scandals, and a new move has come from the meatball chain Köfteci Yusuf, which was found to be using pork in its meatballs.

Köfteci Yusuf has resumed direct animal slaughter. The brand has decided to purchase directly from breeders and farmers in Balıkesir, Ankara, Kırşehir, Aydın, Gaziantep, Malatya, and Bursa.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Köfteci Yusuf was known for its chain restaurants and affordable products across Turkey. However, according to the Ministry's list, pork was detected in Köfteci Yusuf's meatballs.

The famous restaurant owner Yusuf Akkaş denied the allegations and claimed that a conspiracy had been set up against him.

Köfteci Yusuf broke its long silence by sponsoring Karaman Football Club, one of the teams in the TFF 2nd League.
