New claims have emerged in the process of ending Deniz Baysal and Barış Yurtçu's 7-year marriage. While it has been alleged that Yurtçu did not accept a mutual divorce and made a high financial demand, a response to the 'betrayal' claim about the musician came through his lawyer.
Striking developments continue to unfold in the divorce process of actress Deniz Baysal and musician Barış Yurtçu. After Baysal filed for divorce by applying to the Istanbul Courthouse at the beginning of July, it was claimed that Yurtçu also responded to the case file through his lawyer.
According to Birsen Altuntaş's report, Yurtçu did not accept the mutual divorce offer in his response petition submitted to the court and made various demands. Among these demands, it was alleged that he asked Baysal for a large sum of money. However, due to the confidentiality order in the case file, the details of Yurtçu's demands were not reflected to the public.
It is also among the claims that the couple had problems in their marriage for about two years. It was asserted that Baysal made efforts for a long time to sustain her marriage and overcome the problems, but decided to divorce after feeling lonely during the process.
On the other hand, allegations that Barış Yurtçu "cheated on his wife" were also brought to the agenda. Yurtçu, however, broke his silence against these allegations and made a statement through his lawyer.
In the statement, it was noted that the allegation of "cheating on his wife" directed at Yurtçu does not reflect the truth and constitutes an attack on the musician's personal rights.
In the statement made by Yurtçu's lawyer, it was also pointed out that the court issued a confidentiality order within the scope of the ongoing divorce case. Despite this, it was argued that some information and claims regarding the private lives of the parties and the content of the case file were conveyed to the public through third parties.
In the statement, while reacting to the sharing of events not even alleged by the opposing party through the press and social media, it was stated that attempts to damage their client's reputation would not be allowed.
The Barış Yurtçu side firmly denied the infidelity allegation against him, while arguing that sharing details of the divorce case with the public due to the ongoing judicial process is unlawful.
