In the Karabağlar district of Izmir, a suspect with a finalized 50-year prison sentence for 11 separate crimes was caught by police teams hiding inside a wardrobe during an operation. Teams from the Karabağlar District Police Department's Crime Prevention and Investigation Bureau, as part of efforts to capture wanted individuals, identified the address where M.G. (27), who had a finalized 50-year prison sentence, was hiding. Yesterday, when teams raided the house and the suspect did not open the door despite warnings, they entered the residence with the help of a locksmith.
ARRESTED AND SENT TO PRISON
Police teams conducting a detailed search inside the house found and detained the suspect hiding in a wardrobe. In the UYAP query, it was determined that the suspect was wanted for 11 separate cases, including 5 counts of aggravated violation of domicile, 5 counts of theft of property kept in a building, and drug or stimulant possession. During the search of the suspect's residence, 2 narcotic pills, 2 knives, and 1 telescopic baton were seized. After his judicial procedures at the police station, M.G. was arrested and handed over to prison.
