A 12-year-old child who fell into a stream in Erzurum lost their life by drowning.
FELL INTO THE STREAM
According to the information obtained, upon the report that Filiz Aktağ (12) had fallen into Germik Stream and gone missing, the Karaçoban Gendarmerie Command Public Order Team was dispatched to the area. Gendarmerie teams, with the support of neighborhood residents, initiated a search and rescue operation.
LIFELESS BODY FOUND 600 METERS AHEAD
The missing child was found in the stream bed 600 meters ahead of the point where they were last seen, after approximately half an hour of searching. The child, who was taken to Karaçoban State Hospital, could not be saved despite interventions. Aktağ's body was sent to the Erzurum Forensic Medicine Center for an autopsy.
