A new development has occurred in the investigation into the threat and attempted assault faced by folk music artist İsmail Altunsaray in traffic in Ankara. The driver K.Ü.Ö., who attacked Altunsaray and was taken into custody after the incident sparked outrage on social media, has been arrested and sent to prison by the judicial authorities to which he was referred. The suspect was issued an administrative fine, his driver's license was confiscated for 60 days, and his vehicle was banned from traffic.

ARRESTED

Brought before the judge, the street thug was arrested and sent to prison on June 20.
