The suspect, who was detained for allegedly threatening and insulting CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and his wife Selvi Kılıçdaroğlu using the name of the Dalton criminal organization, has been arrested.
CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu and his wife Selvi Kılıçdaroğlu were taken into custody on allegations of threats and insults, and the suspect B.K. was arrested for "threatening using the names of criminal organizations" and "threatening against women."
THREATENED THE KILIÇDAROĞLU FAMILY USING THE NAME 'DALTONS'
Upon a complaint filed by CHP Chairman Kılıçdaroğlu's lawyer Celal Çelik regarding threatening and insulting posts on social media using the name of the Dalton criminal organization targeting his client and his wife, an investigation was launched by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
As a result of technical and physical efforts by the Ankara Provincial Police Department's Organized Crime Branch, the suspect's identity and address were identified. Search and seizure operations were carried out at the residence of B.K., who was taken into custody on the orders of the Chief Prosecutor's Office.
ARRESTED
Following police procedures, the suspect was referred to the Ankara Courthouse, where he gave a statement to the prosecutor handling the investigation, and was then sent to the criminal judgeship with a request for arrest.
The suspect, questioned by the Duty Criminal Judgeship, was arrested for "threatening using the names of criminal organizations" and "threatening against women."
