Our national wrestler Taha Akgül defeated his Hungarian opponent Daniel Ligeti 8-0 in the men's freestyle 125 kg quarterfinals and advanced to the semifinals. Akgül will face Amir Hossein Zare in the semifinals and will fight to reach the final.

Our national wrestler advanced to the semifinals by defeating Daniel Ligeti 8-0 in the men's freestyle 125 kg quarterfinals. Taha Akgül will face Amir Hossein Zare in the 3rd match of the evening session, which will start at 19:15, in order to reach the final. Taha Akgül defeated his Puerto Rican opponent Jonovan Smith with a technical superiority of 10-0 in the round of 16.
