In the Bodrum district of Muğla, Murat Yüp, the driver of a motorcycle that collided with a taxi, lost his life, and the passenger behind him, Gülistan V., was severely injured. The taxi driver was taken into custody.
In the Bodrum district of Muğla, motorcycle driver Murat Yüp (52) lost his life, while passenger Gülistan V. (30) was seriously injured in a collision with a taxi. The accident occurred around 02:00 on Rıza Anter Street in Torba Neighborhood. According to claims, the taxi with license plate 48 T 6534, driven by M.C., collided with the motorcycle with license plate 48 AVF 466, driven by Murat Yüp, who was coming from a side road.
HIT A LAMP POST
Due to the impact, motorcycle driver Yüp and his passenger Gülistan V. were dragged about 100 meters and thrown onto the road. The taxi crashed into a roadside lamp post and overturned. Following the report, numerous health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. After initial medical intervention, the injured were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulance. Murat Yüp could not be saved despite all interventions by doctors. It was learned that Gülistan V.'s condition is critical.
TAXI DRIVER DETAINED
Yüp's body was sent to the Muğla Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for autopsy. The taxi driver M.C., who was unharmed in the accident, was detained by police.
