Talasgücü Belediyespor, one of the teams in the TFF 3rd League, has withdrawn from the league. Talas Mayor Mustafa Yalçın announced that this decision was made due to financial difficulties. Yalçın also stated in his written statement that Talasgücü Belediyespor has achieved significant successes in the past 5 years. "THE MUNICIPALITY CANNOT COVER THESE FIGURES"Yalçın emphasized that they have overcome the financial and spiritual difficulties encountered while achieving success as Talasgücü Belediyespor, and stated the following; "Being helpless in covering the expenses for the next season has forced us to make new decisions. Apart from the player transfers and match expenses of a professional team, even the away game expenses alone require a budget of around 20 million Turkish liras in today's figures. Since it is legally impossible for municipalities to cover this amount from their own budgets, it does not seem possible for Talasgücü Belediyespor to compete in the 3rd League next season. "THEY WILL CONTINUE THEIR ACTIVITIES IN YOUTH CATEGORIES"I would like to thank all the club presidents and board members, technical staff, and our colleagues who have supported us from the municipality for their selfless contributions to our team until today. As Talasgücü Belediyespor, we will continue to train the future football players and serve Turkish football in the youth categories that we have been carrying out with 450 children year-round."
