The cool and rainy weather that has been effective during the holiday is preparing to leave Turkey. According to Meteorology, temperatures will rise by 2 to 4 degrees in some regions today, and will gradually increase above seasonal norms in the new week. Air temperatures will rise up to 31 degrees in Istanbul and 32 degrees in Izmir on Tuesday.
The cool and rainy weather that has been affecting the country during Eid al-Adha is leaving. According to the forecasts of the General Directorate of Meteorology, the cool air coming from the Black Sea will be replaced by spring temperatures again.
As a noticeable increase in temperatures occurs starting today, thermometers will rise above seasonal norms in the coming days.
RAINFALL RETREATS TO NARROW AREA
According to the latest assessments of the Meteorology, rainfall today will mostly be seen in the Black Sea Region, eastern part of Eastern Anatolia, and the coasts of Adana, Hatay, and Mersin.
In the southeastern part of Eastern Anatolia, strong winds with speeds of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour are expected occasionally.
TEMPERATURES WILL RISE GRADUALLY
Air temperatures will increase by 2 to 4 degrees today, especially in the northwestern regions. Experts state that the temperature increase will continue into the new week and will exceed seasonal norms in many cities.
THERMOMETERS IN ISTANBUL WILL SHOW 31 DEGREES
In Istanbul, the air temperature, which is 23 degrees today, is expected to rise to 25 degrees tomorrow, 28 degrees on Monday, and up to 31 degrees on Tuesday.
In the capital Ankara, temperatures are forecasted to reach 22 degrees tomorrow, 24 on Monday, and 27 on Tuesday.
In Izmir, the temperature will be 30 degrees tomorrow. Thermometers in the city are expected to show 32 degrees on Monday and Tuesday.
SUMMER WEATHER WILL BE EFFECTIVE IN THE NEW WEEK
According to meteorology data, warmer and sunnier weather will be effective across the country with the new week. Especially with the increase in felt temperatures in major cities, citizens are expected to experience summer weather.
