Following this development, a group of fans went to the Haluk Ulusoy Facilities to hang a flag at the club. It was reported that an argument occurred between the fans and Denizlispor President Süleyman Urkay, and the president was confronted aggressively.

After it was brought to the agenda that Denizlispor, one of the historic clubs of Turkish football, would not be able to participate in the league in the new season, a group of fans went to Haluk Ulusoy Facilities to hang a flag at the club.

The argument that started between the fans and President Urkay over hanging the flag grew in a short time. It was reported that as tension increased, a fan moved towards President Urkay.
