As the eyes of the CHP are focused on the decision to be made regarding the cancellation of the congress, a dispute broke out among the lawyers in the courtroom where the case is being heard. The lawyer of Lütfü Savaş, who filed the lawsuit, stated, "Criminal activities were conducted to change the outcome of the congress in favor of Özgür Özel," while the CHP lawyers reacted by saying, "Is there such a statement? You are the criminal organization, you are the criminal."

The lawsuit filed for the annulment of the CHP's 38th Ordinary Congress held in November 2023 and the 21st Extraordinary Congress held on April 6 of this year began today at 10:00 AM at the Ankara 42nd Civil Court of First Instance.
