In the Kocasinan district of Kayseri, approximately 30 people were injured in an accident where a passenger bus collided with a truck carrying a fuel tanker. In the accident, where both the bus and the truck overturned, the fuel in the tanker spilled completely onto the road, narrowly avoiding a catastrophe.
TRUCK AND BUS OVERTURNED
According to the information obtained, in a traffic accident that occurred at the intersection on Osman Kavuncu Boulevard in Anbar Neighborhood, the truck carrying a fuel tanker with license plate 38 APR 821 collided with a passenger bus with license plate 33 ANR 013, operated by Cizre Nuh Tourism, which had departed from Cizre district of Şırnak and was heading to Ankara, driven by Mustafa A. As a result of the collision, the truck and the bus overturned, and upon notification, numerous police, health, fire brigade, AFAD, and UMKE teams were dispatched to the region. Police teams completely closed the road where the accident occurred to traffic, while fire brigade teams rescued the injured from the bus and handed them over to health teams.
THERE ARE SERIOUSLY INJURED IN THE ACCIDENT
Health teams transported approximately 30 people injured in the accident to various hospitals in the city by ambulances after providing first aid at the scene. After the accident, all the fuel in the tanker spilled onto the road, narrowly avoiding a disaster. It was learned that some of the injured are in life-threatening condition. Teams' efforts at the scene continue.
An investigation has been initiated regarding the accident.
