In an accident that occurred in the Salihli district of Manisa, one person lost their life and three others were injured, two of them seriously, when a car collided with a broken-down truck.

The car driven by Y.E., heading from Salihli towards Köprübaşı, crashed into a truck parked on the right side of the road due to a malfunction in the Taytan neighborhood of the Salihli-Köprübaşı highway.
Upon notification from other drivers in the vicinity, health, fire, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams from the Salihli branch of the Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department, who arrived at the scene, rescued 3 people trapped in the car.
1 PERSON LOST THEIR LIFE
During the examination by the health teams, it was determined that Menekşe Ertuğrul, who was a passenger in the car, had died at the scene.
The injured car driver Y.E. and passengers D.S. and H.Ş.S. (6) were taken to Salihli State Hospital and private hospitals after the initial intervention at the scene. It was learned that the driver Y.E. and 6-year-old H.Ş.S. are in critical condition. An investigation has been initiated regarding the accident.
