Aylin Görgülü, a 12th-grade student, jumped onto the tracks at the Hacıosman Metro Station on the Istanbul Sarıyer M2 line and was killed by a train. Görgülü's funeral was held in Sarıyer. Her friends claimed that Aylin was subjected to peer bullying. It was learned that Aylin, who sang in a music group, sent a message to a friend saying, "Brother, I did not deserve you."

SHE JUMPED IN FRONT OF THE TRAIN
The incident occurred on Friday, February 20, around 4:45 PM at the Hacıosman Metro Station. According to the information obtained, Aylin Görgülü, a 12th-grade student studying at a high school in Ayazağa, arrived at the metro station. As the metro approached, Görgülü jumped onto the tracks. She was hit by the train and lost her life. Emergency health, fire, and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notification of those nearby. Health teams determined that Görgülü had died at the scene.
SHE SENT A MESSAGE TO HER FRIENDS
After the investigations by the crime scene investigation teams and the Public Prosecutor, Aylin Görgülü's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution's morgue. In the examination conducted by the police teams, it was learned that Görgülü had sent a message to her friend saying, "I was not worthy of you." An investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
"SHE WAS A BELOVED STUDENT"
According to her friends, Görgülü, who was subjected to peer bullying, was a member of a music group and was also a beloved student among her peers. Aylin's father, Erdem Görgülü, stated that Aylin had been going through stressful days due to the university entrance exam. Aylin's funeral was held at the Sarıyer Central Mosque on Sunday and she was laid to rest at Kilyos Cemetery.
