Amid ongoing activity in the CHP following the 'absolute nullity' decision, uncertainty remains over which MPs will accept or decline Özgür Özel's invitation to all lawmakers for a closed group meeting. This group meeting is critical for clarifying positions within the CHP and distinguishing "the sheep from the goats."
The activity within the CHP that began after the 'absolute nullity' decision continues.
HE CALLED ALL MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT
Most recently, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, who was temporarily suspended from duty by a court decision, decided to hold a closed group meeting at the headquarters tomorrow at 11:00 AM. Özel also called on all MPs to attend the meeting. Afterwards, at 2:00 PM, he will chair the Party Assembly meeting.
“THE BLACK SHEEP AND THE WHITE SHEEP” WILL BE REVEALED
However, it remains uncertain which CHP deputies will heed Özel's call. Deputies supporting former Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was reinstated as party leader, are expected not to attend the meeting. Thus, the group meeting chaired by Özel is expected to reveal the “black sheep and white sheep” within the CHP and clarify the divisions.
