A car struck a 13-year-old student trying to cross the road in the Kahta district of Adıyaman. In the incident captured by a security camera, while the driver ran to help, a motorcyclist continued on his way without paying attention to the child lying on the ground; the student was taken to hospital.
HE LOOKED AT THE CHILD AND CONTINUED ON HIS WAY
The accident occurred in the afternoon near Mevlana Middle School in Hürriyet Neighborhood. Muhammed Enes Ö. (13), who was trying to cross the road after school, was injured as a result of being hit by a car. Muhammed Enes Ö. collapsed to the ground. The driver ran to the child's aid. Meanwhile, a motorcyclist continued on his way without paying attention to the child lying on the ground. The events were reflected in the security camera of a workplace.
Muhammed Enes Ö., who was given first aid by the medical team dispatched to the accident scene upon notification, was taken to hospital and taken under treatment.
An investigation has been launched into the accident.
