The master artist Nükhet Duru, who revealed for the first time that she is battling MS disease, shared that she was unable to walk for six months during her difficult period. Describing the disease as a "grumpy snake," Duru advised Serdar Ortaç and other patients to "stay away from stress, alcohol, and gambling."
The master of the music world, Nükhet Duru, made sincere statements in a program broadcasted on Number1 Turkish radio. The artist, who announced that she was diagnosed with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) a while ago, openly shared her most challenging period for the first time.
"I THOUGHT OF IT LIKE A GRUMPY SNAKE"
Duru explained that MS is a condition that spreads from the cerebellum and can almost paralyze a person, stating that the disease rendered her unable to walk for 6 months:
"I was struck by a severe crisis. MS is a disease that spreads from the cerebellum. It paralyzes a person. I experienced this for about 6 months without being able to walk. My attention to health, getting to know my body well, and managing it correctly happened after this disease. I thought of it like a grumpy snake. We have come this far by gently stroking its head."
MESSAGE TO SERDAR ORTAÇ: STAY AWAY FROM STRESS AND GAMBLING
Offering advice to Serdar Ortaç, who is also an MS patient, the artist made a call to everyone experiencing the same condition, saying, "My advice to Serdar Ortaç and everyone who has this disease is to pay great attention to their private lives. They should live a calm life. Stay away from stress, alcohol, and gambling."
