With the bill prepared by the AK Party, which is planned to be presented to the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) in the new year, a legal regulation will be introduced regarding exorbitant site fees. Accordingly, services such as maintenance and cleaning will be planned by the management, proposals will be obtained, and these will be submitted for the approval of the property owners. Fees cannot be collected without approval. The regulation aims to increase transparency in fees, prevent high fees, and prevent abuses.

With the bill expected to be presented to the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) in the coming days, a legal regulation will be made regarding exorbitant site fees, putting an end to complaints of "I am paying more in fees than my rent."

COMPLAINTS HAVE BEEN TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT

According to information obtained by AA correspondent, the AK Party parliamentary group, led by Group Chairman Abdullah Güler, has prepared a bill regarding exorbitant site fees, taking into account complaints of "I am paying more in fees than my rent."

PROPOSALS WILL BE SOUGHT FOR SERVICES

The bill, planned to be submitted to the TBMM Presidency in the new year, will regulate exorbitant site fees. According to the proposal, services such as inventory renewal, infrastructure, maintenance, repair, and cleaning in sites will first be projected by the managements. Proposals will be sought for these services.

FEES CANNOT BE COLLECTED WITHOUT APPROVAL

Proposals will be submitted for the approval of property owners. Fees will be collected at rates determined for the approved services. Fees cannot be collected without approval. The regulation aims to ensure that fee expenditures are carried out transparently, to prevent high fees, and to prevent abuses in this regard.

A TIME FRAME WILL BE GIVEN TO RIGHT HOLDERS

Additionally, this proposal will provide a new opportunity and a time frame for right holders of agricultural lands and some properties that could not be paid for various reasons and whose applications could not be completed for various justifications.
