In an incident that took place in the town of Dalmuir, England, an allegation of infidelity between a father and son turned into a bloody fight. 55-year-old Kamil Mohammed Nadir ran over his 40-year-old son Rebath Kamil with a Mercedes SUV at the family-owned car wash.
In the horrifying footage captured by security cameras, Nadir, a former Iraqi fighter, is seen speeding towards his son, who was washing cars. As a result of the collision, Rebath became trapped against a brick wall and struggled to get up, taking a few steps before collapsing to the ground.
In the continuation of the video, Nadir's other three sons, Datsan, Daban, and Serbaz, are seen running to the scene, with two of the brothers throwing punches at their father.
According to what was described in court, the cause of the incident was a family dispute. It was alleged that after Nadir separated from his wife, Rebath told his brothers that he had seen their father with another woman. Nadir became enraged by this and went to the car wash, shouting, "I will kill you all."
In his statement to the police after the incident, Rebath said, "My father claimed that I told my brother I saw him with another woman. I said I didn't say such a thing, I only mentioned that I saw him with someone." He also added, "My father was trying to kill me. He drove the car directly at me. If he just wanted to scare me, he would have stopped, but he didn't."
In the case being heard at Kilmarnock High Court, prosecutor Donald Davidson read Rebath's statement taken by the police immediately after the incident. The case against Nadir for the assault is ongoing.
