The Minister of Family and Social Services, Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, stated that the Home Care Assistance, aimed at providing economic support to fully dependent citizens and their families, has been increased from 9,077 lira to 10,125 lira with the new regulation in the January civil servant salary coefficient, saying, "We have started to deposit the Home Care Assistance payments into the accounts of the beneficiaries with an increase. "OUR PRIORITY FOR DISABLED CITIZENS IS HOME CARE"

Minister Göktaş reminded that the Home Care Assistance, one of the most important family-oriented care service models offered by the ministry, was initiated in 2006 with the idea of primarily supporting disabled individuals at home with their families. Göktaş stated, "We prioritize the care of disabled citizens to be provided at home in a way that preserves family integrity. With Home Care Assistance, we support the preservation and strengthening of family unity by allowing disabled individuals to live with their families or relatives without leaving their living environment."

Emphasizing that citizens who take care of their fully dependent relatives in need of care are supported to maintain family integrity, Göktaş said, "We strive to reach every individual in society with the holistic and fair social service models we have developed. Within the framework of our vision of a society that leaves no one behind, we made a total of 54.7 billion lira in Home Care Assistance payments in 2024."

"WE ARE MAKING A PAYMENT OF 5.4 BILLION LIRA"
