A dispute among young people in the Selçuklu district of Konya turned into an armed fight. A 17-year-old was shot in the leg, while the 16-year-old who fired the weapon was apprehended.

A 16-year-old suspect who shot and injured a 17-year-old youth during a dispute among young people in Konya was captured by police teams.

A dispute broke out between H.V. (17) and F.Ü. (16) for an unknown reason in Ravza Park located in the Işıklar neighborhood of the central Selçuklu district of Konya.

SHOT IN THE LEG WITH A GUN

As the argument escalated into a fight, F.Ü. took a gun from the workplace where he was working next to the park and shot H.V. in the leg. The injured youth was taken to Konya City Hospital by ambulance for treatment.

The suspect F.Ü., who fled the scene after the incident, was captured and detained by police teams. It was learned that the health condition of the injured H.V. is good. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
